Ever changing weather

Last night there was a tremendous thunderstorm. Our sturdy timber house shook, and earplugs would have been good!

This is Mora town where we spent some time this morning. It stands on the shores of Lake Siljan. The sun is streaming down from a clear sky, it's 30 degrees and it feels like Paphos.

We're having lunch with my cousin who happened to visit with friends here.

It's a pretty town famous for, among other things, a ski race over several Swedish miles that attracts contestants from all over the world.

There are a lot of tourists even during the summer and the sightseeing train is a good way to see the town.

We're back home now. It is still very warm and the wind has changed from absolute calm to strong in a short time, and we can smell the smoke from a huge fire that has been raging for the last 5 days about 150 k from here. Several villages have been evacuated. Scary!
