Departure
Early Wednesday morning and time to clean the guest flat and be on our way to Dalecarlia.
We had a few pieces of luggage........
Adam was coming with us so we picked him up and off we went. Around lunch time we saw a sign saying Virsbo Brukshotell and thought it sounded nice.
It turned out to be a lot more Spartan than we had expected,
but the food was OK. Good old-fashioned Swedish cooking, pea-soup and pancakes.
Conny's "mozzie-sign" stands at the side of the road as usual, and this year it is more true than ever- hordes of mosquitoes and tiny "noseams"!
The grounds look like one big meadow full of all sorts of flowers. We'll have to cut it, of course, but we'll leave part of it as it is.
The lord of the manor is at home, up with the flag.
The Lilac still has some flowers left,
and the flycatcher is working overtime bringing food to her young.
Frida gets a little more mossy every year, but she still looks after the property.
