What a beautiful morning!
It was a lovely evening and we dined outside until late.
On one of our wanderings the following day we found a lot of lovely mushrooms.my sister-in-law is very knowledgeable about all things nature, and she knew which were good to eat and which to avoid.
Our catch made a lovely addition to our dinner that evening.
There's an old manor house made into an hotel and restaurant in the town that some friends had recommended. We had planned to lunch there before we parted on their way home. Unfortunately, they had stopped serving lunch at the end of the tourist season, so we had to make do with a smaller place in town. And as you can see, the sun is still shining. I think we're in the middle of an Indian Summer. I love it!
'Kaffegök' is the Swedish name for coffee laced with schnapps. It's a play on words, the literal translation is 'coffee cuckoo, hence this picture!
