After breakfast I go down the path to "talk a little to Frida". I eat some raspberries that I pick directly from the bushes. It is sunny and already 20 degrees.
We realized that Tina had never been to Björkberget, so we drove to Siljansnäs and up the hill to BuffilsAnnas coffee house where we eat a light lunch. Mine was waffles with cloudberry jam and cream. Yummy!
We then walked to Naturrum, a small museum adjacent to the restaurant. On the side of the road there was a mini-fair where they showed old fashioned handicraft. There was also a small group of people playing guitars and singing. In the museum were some stuffed animals one can find in the wild around here; moose, bears, wolves, lynx....
There was also a golden eagle hanging from the ceiling. The other day we actually saw one soaring high above our house. Fantastic birds, so big.
Home again I felt like a little gardening. I started cutting out dead branches from the hops. Gunnar thought he would secure the stick a little better and started to make a new hole. He sunk the sharp iron deep into the ground and water started pouring out! He had struck the water-pipe!
Panic! The taps are placed underneath the veranda and are difficult to reach. Gunnar worked hard to stop the flow and make a bypass so that we would still have water in the house.
Pictured before cleaning up. Doesn't he look cute?
Relaxing after a hard day's work.
