The day before yesterday we packed the car with Tina, dogs, the cat, suitcases and two large bags full of dirty laundry and made for the big city.
We stopped for lunch on the way, and a couple of hours later it was time for a coffe break. We turned off the main road and found a nice place by the lake Mälaren to stop.
These trolls were having a ball at the side of the road.
Dogs get to "read the newspapers".
We stopped and Gunnar went in search of a good place to unpack the pick-nick basket.
This looks like a good spot.
The small pontoon bobbed up and down as we sat down on the benches.
There were some road works on the Strängnäsbron, which is a high bridge shaped like a half-moon, and we had to stop and wait for oncoming traffic right in the middle of it.
Finally, here we are at Mia's.
Tina's lads came over and here they are taking the dogs for a walk.
Then we all walked to a lovely restaurant not far from there. During the summer they only use the outside and one can't book a table, it's "first come first served" only. A smart idea because while you wait, which is usually at least one hour when the weather is so lovely as it was that evening, one want something in the glass and something to nibble on. It's a very popular place.
And at last we got a table for 7. The food was delicious as usual. An enjoyable evening all together.
A beautiful flower growing in Mia's garden.
