Forsen Zoo

The other evening we had some visitors. It was raining softly and suddenly there was this moose in front of the window. A yearling by the look of things.

It turned out that he wasn't alone, there were two of them. They were slowly eating of all the greenery around the house without fear. I hung out the window with the camera. They heard the clicks and looked up now and then, but didn't seemed to mind, just continued feeding.

I feel so privileged to see something so magnificent. They were only about a year old, but boy! were they big.

There are birds here too. This one is balancing on two thistles, well done!

It's eating the flower or perhaps there are insects there. This little yellow bird was not afraid either but sat there letting me take pictures.
Gunnar called just now about a Viper, but I was too slow with the camera. Maybe just as well.
