The view from the house is lovely, the lake Israelssjön lay glittering in the sun. The owner of the other bike came over, he was called Rune. The house belonged to his son-in-law who was a keen hunter. He asked if I'd like to look inside.
Rune didn't like hunting. We agreed that it was distasteful to have all those dead animals around the walls.
Apart from those that I took pictures of, there were about 8 skeletons of moose (heads with horns) hanging around the walls and some large and small birds.
It makes me sad to think that those two moose that were feeding around the house the other evening might end up on a wall like this come autumn.
Not only death and destruction on my bike ride yesterday. Here are two very alive bugs.
When I reach the road again, there was a moose in my path. Before I could get the camera it had disappeared into the woods. I felt good then.
At the end of the road I walked down this small path to a fishing hut.
There I sat on the steps enjoying the peace and quiet and the view.

Today I went the other way.
It looks like we'll have some lingonberries this year too.
I passed a small water hole.
The sky was dramatic and up here the view is endless.
They are very fond of hunting here. Along the road there were many of these hunter's shelters.
Suddenly I stopped short. Was that a bear over there?
No, no bear but a peculiar stone with moss on top.
At the crossroads I turned right and soon I was pedalling away along the main road. My trip today was about 1 Swedish mile. I feel very proud of myself.
