I'm in Sweden again. The plane landed early Thursday morning 18/7 and I went directly to Väsby and mum. It was a glorious morning and mum sat in her chair sleeping outside in the gazebo.
She opened her eyes a couple of times but continued to sleep. When she at last woke up it was a long time before she recognized me, but finally her eyes focused and a smile lit up her face. She moved her hand as if to embrace me and when I put my arms around her I could feel her hand softly on my back. All in all it was a good visit even though she seems to have lost the ability to form words.
I often went to see mum during the week I spent in Stockholm, but every visit was not that positive. The time Sara came along was, however, a good day. We stayed nearly 3 hours and Sara helped mum, feeding her lunch. Mum even made up a little song about how nice Sara is and what beautiful teeth she has. It was a long time since I had heard mum say so many words that were understandable. The pictures from that day are in my small camera that Sara took with her to Holland. I may publish them later.
Birgitta and I went together one day to Väsby, that was a good day too.
Mum's hair was wet so I put in some rollers. Her hair is very thin and dried in no time.
She looked nice when I combed it out.
And putting out her tongue!
